Burgundy has without a doubt been my favorite color this season. I’ve never bought so many burgundy dresses, sweaters, items, etc. as much as I have this season. There is just something about this shade of red that is so appealing. It is the perfect mix of cute and sexy, without trying too hard. Different kinds of burgundy pieces can definitely change up the look and that is why I think burgundy is becoming the new black. I love black anything as much as the next fashionista, but if you are like me and think your clothing color palette needs just a little color, burgundy gives you just that.

In this outfit, I pair my burgundy top with black (ofcourse) and it gives me just the right amount of sultry while still keeping the versatility that we all love about the color black! When I found this burgundy lace up top, I knew I had to get it. With lace up tops and Over The Knee (OTK) boots being the trend of the season, this outfit was the perfect combination of both.
