Chasing Blogging as a Full-Time Student

As a result, I would fall off the face of the earth (from my blog that is) for months at a time, returning only on breaks. Why? Because as much as I wanted for it to be, blogging was not my whole life, in fact, it was almost my alter ego. x13x14x4College student by day, fashion aficionado by night. Yep that was me, or still is. I have always been passionate about this blog and actually pursuing it. But when you are balancing 18 credits, a couple extra-curriculars, a job, a social life and attempting to get some sleep, blogging and even keeping up with an Instagram fell further and further down my list of priorities. Until now that is. After quite a transformative semester abroad, I came home and decided to stop putting my passions on hold. I decided to stop waiting for when I had a little free time but instead make time. After all, you learn to make time for things that you are passionate about, things that make you happy. x15x6This semester has without a doubt been my busiest one yet. In between juggling upper division honors classes with the rest of my classes and teaching an undergraduate class, serving on my sorority's National Board, working, traveling, making time for family and friends, etc. my days were packed. But for the first semester ever since I started blogging, I stopped making excuses and just figured out a way to make it work. I would be lying if I told you it was easy, because there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes that you will never see. But for the first time in so long, I am genuinely happy with the progress I have made this semester. x16x12 I definitely would not be as inspired as I am if it was not for such a supportive and encouraging Instagram/Blogging community. I would like to give a special shout out to my friend Fiona who has taught me to always find time for the things that make you happy and inspires me to never use a "busy schedule" as an excuse and to my friend Michelle for inspiring me to never give up with chasing my passions and always staying dedicated to the hustle that this blogging world so desperately requires. x9x10

Lastly, thank you to you all, who have supported me whether on Instagram or my blog for so long. Your support inspires me to continue pursuing this passion.
