Helllo internet world and anyone who takes the time to read my blog posts (I actually love you more than you know, hehe). Just a quick update for anyone who hasn't caught wind, I'm back in the good ol' U S of A (although that may be debatable depending on who you're talking to). It has been a month since I left living my life on the road in my favorite continent in the world and although it is a nice change to not be living out of a suitcase and sleeping in airports to save money anymore, I would gladly do it over and over again if I could just relive those days. However, for now it is time to get back to "real life" (not that my European adventures were unreal, they just felt like a dream).

Though readjusting has been a bit of a challenge, one of the many things I am eternally grateful for that these last 6+ months have done for me is the fact that it has re-inspired me. Now I could write a whole blog post about this (who knows maybe I might, but for the sake of my test grade I should really study, haha) but to sum it all up, it has gotten me out of that rut I have felt stuck in for quite awhile. The funniest part is I didn't even realize it until I had the opportunity to step back and revaluate my life. Okay that sounds dramatic but really, take for example when I started this blog two years ago I had so many plans and ideas that I never put into action simply because I did not think they were good enough, cared too much about what my audience would think or because I let "life getting in the way" be my excuse, always. For most of college, I started losing my love for fashion--well more like losing inspiration--which was unfortunate because I had racks and racks of clothes just sitting untouched tags still on and all while I wore the same 10 shirts over and over again.

Now, I don't know if it was having to live out of a suitcase (which all my travel gals out there can attest to is not very many clothes) for so long and having to get creative with the same articles of clothing or realizing that if I kept making excuses and doubting myself my dreams would continue to be exactly that, dreams, that has inspired me to make it work and chase after one of the things that I love most.

So here's to getting out of that rut, I am excited for what is to come.
